Growing Sunflower Greens
At first, Sunflower Microgreens are a somewhat challenging crop to grow, but mastering them is quite easy. In this ridiculously long Instructional video we cover everything you need to know - and a whole lot more - apparently.
We show growing with weight atop the seeds, and without - and grow in two different Trays - our small Stainless Steel Sprouter and a 5x5 plastic nursery tray.
We have tried for over a decade to make this particular Instructional film. Finally we have finished. I (Gil) apologize for the length. Despite the cost (your time viewing it =;-) I know you'll grow great crops after watching it.
We don't often (ever) respond to comments here. You can reach us through sproutpeop...

Growing Cilantro Microgreens
Просмотров 11 тыс.4 года назад
Growing Cilantro Microgreens is quite easy once you learn to ignore them properly. I will show you every step in detail. Probably way more detail than you want, but if you're new to growing these you will be rewarded for your patience. Cilantro requires a pretty unique method, so it is a great seed to learn. Though not many seeds grow this way - it will teach you a variable that will broaden yo...
The Euro Tray Sprouter
Просмотров 6 тыс.4 года назад
The Euro Tray Sprouter is designed and produced in Poland. It is completely different than our other sprouting devices. It is modern in design and aesthetically very pleasing - especially with a crop growing in it. Growing Grass in the Euro Tray Sprouter is easy and different. There is no medium - it's just water. The method shown in this video is largely the same as it is for all crops grown i...

Growing Grass on a thick medium - in this case Coconut Coir is incredibly easy and rewarding. In this video we're growing Cat Grass, but all Grass grows exactly the same way. Again comments are off as we two Sproutpeople are always communicating - but only at sproutpeople.or...

Growing Mung Bean Sprouts is easy. Mung Beans can be grown into short sweet sprouts in a couple days by even a novice sprouter. Because of the range of possibilities I consider them the most entertaining seed to sprout. Super nutritious and profoundly delicious - the unmatched text...

Does that screen jar say 🐦seed? I ordered from Rex Products Inc in 2020 and they grew productive. Ordered again in 2024 trying to save money Ol Potters and it was more foreign debris. I'm terrified to try to human consume birdseed again. 8s it really a bad thing? The FDA and government will tell us anything! 🌻🌱's Rock!

Great video, I love those stainless trays, I actually grow microgreens and sprouts for my friend's family's farm/greenhouse/veggie stand down here in SW Michigan. Q: Why cut off the tap root? They are chuck full over nutrition!! I noticed you put your drain tray on a plate, then they get smashed, stay in water, turn yellow and look, smell and taste, well, not the greatest. If you suspend the bottom of the drip tray, an inch or more, the roots grow nice and straight, stay white, taste amazing, then the entire sprout can be easily pulled out and there is ZERO waste. I'm telling you bro, you are wasting good stuff that way.

Great video thanks for the instruction. I have your plastic sprouter as well and have done beans in a jar with screen lid but am going to try in your plastic sprouter. I was hoping to get your advice on storing the sprouted beans. After sprouting the beans, I should refrigerate but can't eat them quick enough till they might spoil. So, after sprouting I save a few to eat out of hand, then either cook them and freeze to use in soups, or I've heard you can dry your sprouts on the counter or a dehydrator and they will store longer in the refrigerator. Do you recommend drying them and if so, does this affect the nutritional quality of the sprouts? Was wondering what your opinion/advice was on that. Thank you so much and am so glad I found Sproutpeople and all your products and instructional videos!

In your sprout broccoli vertically video. The excessive rinsing at the end to remove the hulls is unnecessary ...you are just washing the nutrients down the drain😢🙏💗⚘️☀️☀️. Excessive rinsing of any leavy vegetable is soo unnecessary and is removing all nutrients down the drain.

Hi and thanks for the video. I just started sprouting aprx 6 months ago. I have a jar sprouter with the ss screen lid and black cover. My question is do I not need the black cover after a few days? It looks like your sprouter gets some light and my biggest issue is wondering how long to keep sprouting before putting in light? Hopefully this makes sense.
